David Beckham's surgeon's confirmed he won't be competing at this summer's World Cup in South Africa.The England star's agent said he had undergone a successful operation on his achilles tendon and is expected to make a full recovery.Beckham pulled up during AC Milan's Serie A encounter with Chievo  after rupturing his tendon.The star midfielder recently joined Milan for a second loan spell from Los Angeles Galaxy in a bid to prove his fitness to Capello.Professor Sakari Orava, who performed the operation in Finland, insisted the 34-year-old should be able to play again.But he dashed Beckham's chances of appearing in a record fourth World Cup, saying it would probably be six months before the former England captain can play again.However his rehabilitation will have been boosted by news England manager Fabio Capello hopes the midfielder can add to his 115 caps in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
