今天是24节气中的“小暑”，也是全国大部分地区盛夏的开始。连日以来，我国南北方都被卷入了滚滚的热浪当中，多数地区出现40度以上的高温，并迎来“桑拿天”。

The heatwave that has already lasted three days is expected to ease and temperatures should fall to around 30 degrees Celsius after rainfall on Wednesday. However, the rain could continue until Saturday, leading to "sauna weather" during the second half of the week。
据估计，本周三(北京)将迎来降雨，持续三天的热浪将得到缓解。但这场降雨将持续至周六，在本周后几天将京城彻底拖入“桑拿天”。
文中的sauna weather就是我们平时说的“桑拿天”，sauna(桑拿浴)的感觉想必大家都知道，stiflingly hot(非常闷热)，因此sauna weather就是用来形容闷热难耐的天气，也称为sauna days。
本周一，北京市气象台发布了今年首个orange-coded heat alert(高温橙色预警)，land surface temperature(地面温度)超过55摄氏度，power consumption(用电量)再达峰值。在这样的“大蒸笼”里，很多人出现了不适症状，大家要谨防heat stroke(中暑)。
