It is important to train employees who work in the factory, because they directly produce the products. Mistakes could be avoided. There are some situations below when employees need training and development.
When new employees are recruited they need to know the background and regulations of the company; when there are new products or advanced machines that were launched; they need to know how to make the products or how to use facilities. Our customers want the highest standard. We need to train our employees according to the set standards.
Some employees are in charge of dangerous task so they need to understand the safety measures. Because the quality service and behaviors of our staff impact our customers. We should not only produce good quality products but also we need to show that we have high performance employees when customers visit our company.
Training and development is not only good for companies but also good for individuals. They can get improvement and enrich their knowledge. Sometimes I feel regret that I didn’t learn more about On the Job Training (OJT). When I discussed it with Alex (former classmate in Level 4) who was responsible for the same job as me from a different company, I found out that he is more professional than me, because he had taken many training courses. We should invest our time and energy with such trainings for our personal development and to contribute more to our company and country.
