　　Women are born shoppers. Many people think so. Women are sure interested in shopping, however, men love shopping, too. Most people in the world like buying things they fall in love with, without considering whether they are useful or not. Even those so called rational men cannot resist this kind of lure. Who says that men hate shopping?

　　In the first place, men love luxuries. Women love to decorate themselves, so do men. Jewelries are women’s favorite while watches are men’s. Though men do not shop as often as women, they would never refuse to visit every shop just for a suitable watch. A good watch is the symbol of status. Besides, a suit and a pair of leather shoes are needed. That’ll occupy the time, which is longer than the men have imagined, but they’re willing to do it. They do not show their keen on shopping as women do, but they love it.

　　It is generally believed that women spend more than men. Actually, it’s quite wrong. Women always care about the families, so they may buy a lot of necessities while they are shopping. In comparison, men care more about themselves. They buy what are supposed to be important, which may soon be realized as a meaningless ornament. If you study it carefully, you’ll soon discover that women are more clever buyers, yet it’s not a fault for men to pursue their own interests. What’s more, men never bargain! This is why they spend more money. Women are good at communicating. They endeavor to save every penny as they can. This seems incredible to men, but it really works. In contrast, men are poor at cutting down the prices. They pay exactly what the salesmen tell them. In the end, they often find themselves spend too much. Shopkeepers will certainly be very happy if men often visit the shops. Women are difficult creatures to deal with!

　　All the traditional points may be wrong now. For women, shopping for their beautiful clothes or jewelries may be enjoyable, but it is tired to buy those daily things. You may see women carried large bags of food and necessities every day, but I bet that they do not like this kind of shopping. Similarly, men love to buy their luxurious watches rather than those bits and pieces. They enjoy their shopping subconsciously, although they consider it as a part of work: they need to be formal and spiritual when they are holding a conference. Chasing for beauty and comforts is the instinct of all human beings. Women go shopping more often; however, don’t forget that men cannot reject it either.
