① As regards the farmer migration into the cities,there has been a heated discussion among the general public in our society.A majority of people argue that this mass migration is beneficial to the development of both the countryside and the cities.Other people,however,hold that there are more disadvantages arising form this migration movement.
② People who believe in the beneficial side of such migration may have some arguments as follows.To begin with, farmers can earn more money by finding jobs in the cities.Most of them will send part of their income back home to their family.This in turn helps expand the economy of the countryside.
What's more, these farmers also help develop the cities in many ways.
According to a recent survey as published in the newspaper, most of the construction projects in Beijing are actually done by farmers.
③In contrast,some people think that farmer migration may give rise to a series of negative effects as well.These people worry that, with the spread of migration,more land in the countryside will be deserted.This will give rise to a shortage of grain,Some facts about widespread of deserted land have been published recently in the newspapers.In addition,it is also suggested that rising crimes in the cities are related to this migration.
④ Just as any coin has two sides,it's no exception with the issue of farmer migration.Though this migration has indeed brought about some negative effects on our society,its benefits are even more obvious.In my opinion,our government  should try its best to raise the price of agricultural products,so that farmers needn't go into the cities to get rich.Of course,when there is a surplus of labor force in the countryside,farmers should also be encouraged to move to cities for a better living.(291 words)
