On the sixth day of our trip to Beijing, we came to the National Museum.
The first one is the first exhibition hall, where there are many paintings about the Anti Japanese, the Communist Party and the Kuomintang civil war in the period of the Republic of China, such as "flying to seize Luding Bridge", "the founding of new China", etc. These paintings are lifelike and tell us the story of that time very clearly. But what impresses me most is Nanjing Massacre. After reading it, I couldn't help feeling numb. The bodies were piled up in mountains, and the ground was full of heads, hands and legs. The people who are still alive lie on the bodies of their relatives and cry. It's terrible. In the corner of the painting stood two tall Japanese, one looking at the bodies, with a disdainful smile on his face, as if to say, "what's so remarkable about the Chinese people?" The other took a cloth and wiped the blood on the blade. Compared with that time, how happy our peaceful life is now!
After seeing the first exhibition hall, we went to another exhibition hall. In these exhibition halls, there are former dishes, dishes and other tableware, as well as national costumes at home and abroad. They have one thing in common: change. Tableware is from simple to delicate, to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, some tableware are almost modern. On the contrary, clothing has changed from gorgeous to simple.
In so many exhibition halls, my favorite one is the Sino Foreign Friendship Exhibition Hall, which is full of treasures, all of which were sent to China by foreign friends in peacetime. These treasures include ornaments made of honey wax, crocodiles carved in ivory, wooden elephants carved in wood, jade dragons, swan models made of porcelain and many other treasures. These treasures symbolize the friendship between China and foreign countries and the good times of peace.
This trip to the National Museum has gained a lot. I have learned a lot of historical knowledge. For example, the earliest paper money was jiaozi issued by the Northern Song government in Sichuan in 1024, and I have seen various treasures such as beautiful Buddha statues. It's killing two birds with one stone!
