The Last Christmas
In a small city that cannot even be looked up in the dictionary, once lived a little girl. The little girl has many names, Barbie, M&Ms, Duli, Tanya, Sweet Snow, Froggy, Bubble, SG, and so on. Here in this passage we call her Barbie.
Barbie loved Christmas , she liked to see the flowery lights shining on the streets, snow melting in the dark, families shopping for Christmas. She enjoyed hearing bells ringing all around, seeing kids running past, throwing snow balls while giggling cheerfully they impressed her deeply, deeply, she thought, Christmas is the happiest day of the year because all of the just like a beautiful dream which she never wanted to be waken up from.
When Christmas was coming, there were always many grown ups working as usual, Barbie was amazed at it all. It seemed extremely magical. She loved to see the grown ups busy putting up a huge Christmas tree decorated with colorful ribbons, bells, isotheres and mini angels, she discovered candy that the adults left her here and there during the time. the C with Christmas songs was played again and again. Everybody smiled to here and kissed her, in a worked, Barbie loved the Christmas sprit all around here.
Mum told Barbie she was s special kid and Santa loved her, when Barbie was around six, once Grammy gave her a fary tale book that told stories about Santa and his reindeers. Barbie kept the book as her most important treasure. She read it all the times, she believed that Santa lived in the North Pole. with his own factory beside and twelve reindeers in his icy igloo, Santa loved well behaved kids and would give them gifts by coming down in chummy and putting the gift in their lovely stockings.
Every year when it’s Christmas eve, she prayed to god seriously and wished torecieved a gift from Santa Claus, the she hung up the gi8g stocking, and went to bed early with her teddy bear because dad said Santa won’t give gifts to the kids that weren’t’ asleep.
The next morning when Barbie got up, it was snowing outside. Snow flakes were falling from the sky as they were Santa’s white gifts for town. Barbie got out of here bed quickly wearing her pajama. It’s all quiet around she looked up and could always, find gifts under here pillow, under the bed behind the curtain and beside the Christmas tree or somewhere else, even on the roof. The gift were always what she wanted and always made her laugh out loud.
Years went by, Barbie began to decide fiction things and truths, she began to wonder whether Santa existed she was confused because all her friends didn’t think that three had been Santa all along. The Santa in her mind was getting dimmer and dimmer.
And her parents thought that Barbie has grown up as well. They didn’t put up that much decorations as they did in the past to make Barbie laugh and they seldom gave her candy and snacks on Christmas because they all though she has became a big girl. They began to give her gifts both mum or dad, and Santa, Barbie has never thought about that the grown ups didn’t believe in Santa and all his stories. Neveever.
