The Mid-autumn Day

The Mid-autumn Day is one of the most important festivals in China. Before the festival, many shops sell mooncakes, round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside. On the Mid-autumn Day, families get together and have a big dinner.

In the evening we eat mooncakes and all kinds of fruit, such as apples, pears, grapes and watermelons. We look up at the blue sky, and enjoy the bigger and brighter moon. Our grandparents will tell us the story of Chang'e again.
