1. Introduction

i. Virtuous qualities such as coordination, communication skills, and negotiation are just a few but to mention of the advantages accrued to teamwork displayed in video gaming.  

ii. They are related to the benefits of practicing cooperative rather than competitive teamwork in gaming.  More of the advantages are widely explored in the body paragraphs.  

Thesis statement: This persuasive speech will not only bring out the need for continued teamwork in playing online video games but also raise concerns on the need to avoid the biased view associated with video gaming.

2. Body paragraph 1

i. Communication skills (Jagad 2011).  

ii. It allows members to understand and support each other through the help of the maintained shared mental models

3. Body paragraph 2

i. Problem-solving skills through the teamwork are established.  

ii. Experiences in unrestricted situations develop a generation that is capable of solving real-life situations encouraging thinking outside the box (Jagad 2011).

4. Body paragraph 3

i. Spatial skills gained during gaming, which are similar to the skills attained in college-level courses, are retained easily because of constant gaming.  

ii. These skills are easily gained in a more practical arena, which in this case is online gaming rather than the theoretical class set up.  

iii. A gamer is also likely to retain the skills longer as contrasted to a mere scholar (Badatala, Islam, Leddo, & Patel 2016).

i. Improve the coordination of the eyes and the hands (Badatala et al. 2016).
