Aiming to promote traditional Chinese culture， the Student Union is to hold Poetry Recitation Contest.

　　为了弘扬中华传统文化，学生会将举办诗歌朗诵比赛。

　　There is no doubt that reading poetry reflects on the appreciation of beauty in ancient literature. As scheduled， the contest is supposed to launch on June 6th， 2008 at the school Lecture Hall. Students from international department are expected to take part. Additionally， it is recommended that you should prepare Tang and Song poetry. Not only can the contest cultivate the habit of reading classic works but also arouse the interest in traditional Chinese literature.

　　毫无疑问，读诗反映了古代文学的审美。按计划，比赛将于2008年6月6日在学校讲堂举行。希望国际部的学生参加。另外，建议你准备唐诗宋词。对传统文学作品的阅读兴趣，不仅可以培养中国传统文学作品的阅读习惯。
