       "Quick, Jack, get into the pot," says the giant's wife. "The giant likes to eat boys!" 

    巨人的妻子煮东西给杰克吃，她煮的菜很好吃。就在这个时候，一扇门打开了，巨人就要走到屋子里来！

    “快点！杰克！快到锅子里去，”巨人的妻子说道。“巨人喜欢吃男孩！”
Jack gets into the pot. The giant comes into the kitchen. He looks around.

       "I smell a boy," he says with a loud voice. "Where is he? I want to eat him."

       "There are no boys here," says his wife. "Sit down and eat your breakfast."
