According to Daily Mail of August 17, Phillip, of Llanharry, South Wales, who has been growing giant vegetables for 27 years, started growing a 112lb marrow six weeks ago and then found online that he had marrow-ly missed out on the world record of 113lb by the tiniest of margins.
