Beijing TV Station (BTV) is pleased to announce that it will broadcast its Global Spring Festival Gala at prime time on February 15, 2009 (the second day of the Chinese New Year) on the BTV Satellite Channel and the BTV International Channel。

The Global Spring Festival Gala, with the theme of the "World's Peoples Hand-in-Hand," will be a spectacular celebration of cultural diversity and China's first ever grand variety show starring both Chinese celebrities and famous artists from all around the world。
Of course, it is also a celebration of the Chinese New Year, and will include footage of Spring Festival greetings from some of our many friends in other countries。
