父母和子女关于事业的不同想法(liuxuepaper Note:Do parents and children often have different ideas about careers?)
My parents were born and grew up in China. They are highly educated professionals who received their degrees from University of Cambridge in Uk, where they met each other and became soulmates. My dad has his master‘s degree in business administration (MBA); he is a very successful financial expert in China. From liuxuepaper.com.
My mom has her (Ph.D.) doctor‘s degree in art; she has high prestige and teaches modern art in a university in China. Both of them believe that their careers are more than making a good living, and that their careers are their whole life. Comparatively, the careers of my grandparents were so simple. You can see that they have been retired and enjoying their wonderful retirement in our family. When I talked to my grandparents about their careers, they told me that their careers were about making a basic living and raise their own children. For me, as a 15-year-old handsome boy studying in a private middle school in China, I dream to be a scientist in A.I. in my future ^_^ Last and certainly not least, parents and children often have different ideas about careers due to our living in a rapidly developing country.
Different lifestyles and ambition affect and determine ideas about careers in generations!
