From the east to the city came a guest,
On whose clothes Baling rains were seen to rest.
What had brought him here, I begged him to tell.
He said hed buy an axe hill trees to fell.
Now the flowers here have blossomed on the sly;
And young swallows learn to fly in the sky.
"A new springs come after our last adieu.
How many more hoary temple hairs have you?"
