外婆家住在寿昌，离寿昌西湖很近。我常听外公说：“天下西湖36，寿昌西湖就是其中之一。”

好久没去外婆家了，今天一去，哇！寿昌的变化可真大呀！原来的西湖两边摆满了各式各样的摊子，杂乱不堪，湖里杂草丛生，垃圾丢的满地都是。一到夏天，人走过去，苍蝇成群的往身上撞，真是讨厌极了。

现在的西湖两边是座小广场，广场上有花坛，假山，像一座美丽的公园。到了晚上，明亮的灯光照的如同白天一样。五颜六色的地灯一闪一闪地好象星星在眨眼。湖两边围着整齐的石栏杆，清澈的湖水中碧波荡漾，一尾尾小鱼在水中自由自在地游着。湖上有座小巧玲珑的会通桥，沿湖两边，用石板铺成的人行道，道边青草如茜。湖中间还有座美丽的六角亭我沿着西湖走了一圈，感觉心情非常舒畅，啊！西湖的变化真实太大了。
