1. Sing the song: We are happy bees.
2. Free talk.
T: Boys and girls, are you happy?
S: Yes.
T: How are you?
S: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I’m not so good. I’m hungry. I’d like a cake.
Step 2. Presentation and drill(一).
1. (课件出现一只蛋糕)师问生Would you like a cake? Are you hungry? (并同时做动作,示范其意)
2. (出示单词)练习hungry和句子I’m hungry
3. 在学生一一说句子I’m hungry时,老师问What’s the matter?引出该句
4. 学习matter和句子What’s the matter?
比较matter与mother的发音区别(有学生会将这两个发音混起来)
5. T: What’s the matter?
S: I’m hungry.
T: Here’s a cake/hamburger/sandwich/… for you.(同时手做动作)
S: Thank you.
让学生以这样的对话进行chain drill.当最后一个学生和老师对话时,老师回答Thank you, and I’m thirsty, too. I’d like to drink some water.(同时做动作)
